Sacagawea

OceanOn November 7, 1805 they saw the ocean! They had come more than 2,200 miles. They camped along the Columbia River's north shore for nearly a month. When Sacagawea returned back to North Dakota, she had traveled 4,500 miles carrying a baby on her back. She died on December 20, 1812 and had just given birth to a baby girl named Lisette. Clark raised her children.
